Quick note,
I’ll be coming to Michigan from Oct. 1 to Oct. 9. More to follow shortly.
Hello! I’ve been stormed, stormed, with requests to update. Well, I’ve been busy!
Hey!
Thanks to Will and Adrienne for visiting northern california. It was good to see you two again, even if you were jetlagged.
Congratulations to Myles and Melissa on their new married life. The wedding crew: yow! That was a fun time in Tahoe and Reno, and I bet we’ll all be over the drama soon.
Brian, thanks again for dinner while you’re up from socal, even though it was on Uncle Steve’s dime. Sean and I appreciate it.
(let me know if you like these cryptic yet effervescent updates)
Hello people,
I’ve been notified (by several people even!) that I should update my blog. Ok. First I’ll make an excuse: I don’t blog at work.
Hello lovely people,
I got to California alive. I haven’t had much time to do anything but buy a futon and start work, but I do have an address now.
As far as my job, I can’t clarify what I do anymore than I have. I signed an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with the company, and I can’t even legally tell you what they make. However, you will notice their website has an ominous announcement on April 26th. I can tell you that so far the job has been confusing, but surprisingly familiar. Holla.
Death abound. Comedian Mitch Hedberg passed away, and I guess a “great story” of his is when he bought a hotel room for a bunch of fans who drove 6 hours to see him. My friends from the dorms and I were those fans, we drove to cincinatti from ann arbor for a show of his. Here’s the radio show eulogy talking about him, our incident is mentioned briefly near the end of the broadcast. Here’s a little bit of Mitch on the same program, for those unfamiliar with his comedy.
I happened to have seen him at the State Theater in Detroit just a few weeks ago with friends from my last job. His standup that night was way off, in retrospect it probably had a lot to do with his health.
When I sent out my email, so many of you replied “So… what exactly are you going to be doing there?” For you, an answer. I will be working as a junior platform infrastructure engineer.
Dear everyone I know,
I got a new job! I’ve accepted a job at BDNA. Naturally, I’m moving. I’ll be moving from Novi, Michigan to San Jose, California on Friday, March 25th, and should be safely moved by Thursday March 31st. I still don’t know where I’m gonna live, so expect another email in the near future with my new address.
The saddest thing is to lose someone you love. Rachel’s cousin Jessie has committed suicide. Here are Rachel’s words about it. I love you babe, I’m sorry this happened to you and your family.
When do I get my press pass and journalist credentials?
